Here’s a small list of some of the beautiful stocking stuffers for toddlers that have caught my eye this season. We are especially found of Montessori and Waldorf style toys and anything that inspires imaginative play. We’ve already started  collecting some of these to tuck into our little one’s stocking and to gift to young friends and family members. Take a look and tell us what you think.

25 Knit Finger Puppets

The handmade puppets are cute and sometimes hilarious. There are enough in the set to spread this one purchase out over several stockings. We’ve been collecting similar puppets for a while from other sources but have since found this deal on Amazon that can’t be beat. Made in Peru with sustainable and fair trade practices.

Tiger Hand Felted Finger Puppet

An adorable felt finger puppet that is handmade in Nepal. The company also has many other animals and little coin purses available. These would be great to incorporate during everyday story time or as a special treat to keep little ones busy while traveling.

All 5 star reviews for this one! These jumbo wooden kaleidoscopes are great for any age. They are big enough to not be a choking hazard for babies and tons of fun for all ages.

Wood Slide Whistle Toy

This is a high quality well constructed wooden slide whistle. Though it has a softer tone than it’s plastic counterparts, it’s a great way to introduce your child to a fun sounding whistle and you can feel comfortable with them independently playing with it.

Llama Shaker

Shake! Shake! Shake your llama! Have a blast making music with this little llama shaker from GreenTones. We love just about everything that Green Tones makes.
